QLD:Cyclone baby girl born in Cairns

Premier ANNA BLIGH says news of a baby being born in a Cairns evacuation centre will
lift the spirits of Queenslanders surveying the damage from Cyclone Yasi.

AKIKO PRUSS gave birth to a little girl at 6.09am (AEST) .. after a three-hour labour
in the first aid room of Redlynch State College.

Mrs PRUSS has made it clear her second child will NOT be called Yasi.
