Qld: Two treated after Brisbane house fire

Two people had to be treated for smoke inhalation after fire extensively damaged a house in
the inner Brisbane suburb of Paddington.

The Queensland Fire and Rescue Service says the high-set timber house suffered around
$100,000 damage from fire, smoke and heat in the blaze which started at 4pm (AEST).

Two occupants of the house received treatment from ambulance officers for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire, which is believed to have started in the roof space, is being
investigated.
